Job Overview

We are currently looking for Assemblers to join our team in Holland, MI.  

 

As an Assembler, you will:

  • Reference production orders, build sheets, or work orders to assemble frames and other large lounge units per engineering specifications. Responsibilities also include designing forms for chair clamps, inspecting components and performing minor repairs as necessary, ensuring Haworth quality specifications are met. Work as part of team to build completed frames or accessory items and train other members on new product introductions as needed.

 

1st shift schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday. OT is from 4:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday and potential Saturdays from 6:30am-3:00pm.

 

2nd shift schedule: 3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday. OT is from 3:00pm-11:00pm on Fridays. You will always have Saturdays and Sundays off!

 

Weekend shift schedule: 6:00am-6:30pm, Friday-Sunday. OT is voluntary!

Required Qualifications

  • 8th grade education or higher
  • The ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
  • The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs with assistance
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Ability to use basic hand, air, cordless, and/or electric tools
  • Ability to utilize appropriate electronic production system and maintenance management system to complete job duties, along with the respective technology tools, e.g. personal computer (PC), tablet, keyboard, mouse, RF gun
  • Ability to read and follow basic blueprints
  • Good color perception
  • Strong manual dexterity
