Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive ~ Atlanta, GA to join our team in Sales-Atlanta GA.  

 

As a Business Development Executive ~ Atlanta, GA, you will:

Identify and secure new business by targeting competitively held client business and develop new business with assigned existing accounts.  Develop and implement focused account strategy plans for penetrating into targets to establish new relationships through raising visibility and presence of Haworth in the market to secure new sales.

Do you have these required qualifications?
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, interior design, marketing, or communications and 3 years of contract/capital goods selling experience in generating and closing new business, solutions selling, and account management.
  • If no degree; 11 years of contract/capital goods/commercial interiors selling experience in generating and closing new business, solutions selling, and account management.
  • Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Daily travel away from “home” offices up to 70 percent of time in assigned market with occasional overnight travel, depending on assigned territory; may have occasional international travel, depending on assignment and/or training needs. 
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Atlanta, GA without relocation assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
  • Quota bearing responsibilities.
  • Experience in the contract furniture industry.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
  • Confident “hunter” skills to cold call and develop new business opportunities with end-user clients.
  • Strong sales planning skills, e.g., research and strategic analysis, problem solving, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and listening skills to influence target audience.
  • Strong networking skills to develop leads and new business relationships.
