Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Material Planner II ~ Bruce, MS to join our team in Bruce, MS.  


As a Material Planner II ~ Bruce, MS, you will:

Perform basic planning functions to  optimize the manufacturing process and support order fulfillment for Haworth manufacturing. You will work to create consistent loads, evaluate capacities and identify concerns with our suppliers in addition to developing and scheduling workflow, expediting orders, managing inventory, and coordinating disposition of excess material while working cross-functionally at the Bruce, MS plant.



Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Finance, Communications or Engineering PLUS 1 year of material planning experience
  •  If no degree listed above, 9 years of experience in production scheduling / planning, commodity planning, purchase order management, or inventory / warehouse management in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Experience compiling data and creating pivot tables in Excel
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • The ability to work full time in Bruce, MS

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

•    Experience with level loading and capacity planning.
•    Prior experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
•    Knowledge of material flow and supply chain functions.
•    Experience using JIT concepts.


Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:


  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • Root cause problem solving skills.
