Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Assemblers to join our team in Conover, NC.  

 

As an Assembler, you will:

 

Reference production orders, build sheets, or work orders to assemble frames and other lounge and/or guest units per engineering specifications. You may also designs forms for chair clamps, utilizes hand and air-powered tools, air- and hand-operated frame clamps, and wood working machinery. As well as inspect components and performs minor repairs as necessary, ensuring Haworth quality specifications are met.  Work as part of team to build completed frames or accessory items all in an air conditioned environment. Pay will range from $15.50/hr to $18.50/hr depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. Part Time is defined as a consistent work schedule each week which includes a minimum of 16 hours or a maximum of 29 hours worked.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • If no high school diploma/GED, 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • The ability to work in Conover, NC without relocation assistance.
  • The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs with assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

 

  • Two years working with furniture assembly.
  • Experience building wood frames and furniture.
  • Experience working at Haworth.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Good manual dexterity and communication skills; good vision and color perception essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work as contributing member within team environment.
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
