Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Full Stack Web Developer (Solution Engineer I) to join our Information Systems team. This role can be based out of Holland, MI or remote.  
 
As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will:
Be working in our B2C eCommerce space supporting our emerging and evolving direct-to-consumer sales and related web applications. After this project is complete, you will have the opportunity to support the various internal and external web and mobile applications across the Haworth landscape and will provide business solutions by designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet/mobile applications. Work within established architecture and coding standards and frameworks. Recommend and utilize latest technologies, including user interface prototyping and design. 

Do you have these required qualifications?

Required education or equivalent experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Information Security.

OR

  • 2 years formal education from technical school, college, or certification program in computer science, computer information systems, or computer systems engineering AND 2 years of experience developing and maintaining software. 

OR

  • 4 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining software.

 

Required experience:

  • 1 additional year of IT experience.
  • Experience with Agile. 
  • Experience with eCommerce-related development. 
  • Experience with Visual Studio, C#, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC Framework, Entity Framework, familiarity with Single Page Applications, REST APIs, Visual Studio Code experience. 

 

Other requirements:

  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 10% of time.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience with conceptual software development, on-line survey development, user interface design, statistics and graphics programming, and data processing. 
  • Experience with database design. 
  • Experience with Shopify/Liquid, Telerik UI, Kendo UI, jQuery, Bootstrap, Typescript, Angular, Webforms, Git, SOAP, Azure DevOps, OData, Microsoft SQL. 

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Ability to be self-directed, accountable, and disciplined to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.     
  • Ability to learn fast and enjoy moving between different tech stacks. 
  • Highly creative and original thinker. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and debugging skills.
