Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Global Accounts Executive to join our sales team supporting the Bay Area in California. 


As a Global Accounts Executive, you will:

Establish Haworth as trusted advisor with client entities at multi-geographic/multi-sector facility locations to develop long-lasting relationships with executives and key influential decision makers. Develops expands, and deepens sales generating activities within assigned global accounts and targets new business accounts to achieve maximum account penetration at all locations and achieve financial sales targets.  Serve as central point person for all activities involving assigned key and enterprise accounts to coordinate local resources and support to meet client requirements. 

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelors or Masters degree and 8 years selling experience within commercial interiors, contract furniture systems, commercial real estate, and/or architectural workplace solutions with quota retirement responsibilities.
  • If no degree; 16 years selling experience within commercial interiors, contract furniture systems, commercial real estate, and/or architectural workplace solutions with quota retirement responsibilities.
  • Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities. 
  • Daily travel away from home offices up to 70 percent of time in assigned market with occasional overnight travel
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Bay Area, CA without relocation assistance. 

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Sales experience in the office furniture industry
  • Experience working at or with a dealership
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and key influencers in the Bay Area, CA

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Proficiency in developing account strategies, creating customer relationships, and accelerating engagements to close large enterprise contract agreements.
  • Advanced selling skills, e.g., prospect qualification; lead generation; new business development; account penetration; strategic, conceptual, issues-based, and consultative selling; negotiation; and contracts (closing).
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
