Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Design Technology Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Senior Design Technology Specialist you will:
Play a pivotal role in empowering our dealer design community to effectively utilize digital tools to specify and visualize Haworth’s architectural product lines. This role bridges design expertise with technology enablement, ensuring our partners are equipped with the knowledge and resources to deliver accurate, compelling solutions. You will lead training initiatives, develop best practices, and support the adoption of design software platforms such as CET, Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard tools. Your deep understanding of both design workflows and our product portfolio will help drive efficiency, accuracy, and confidence in the specification process.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute strategies for design tools that reflects Haworth's product direction and supports corporate goals with precision and timeliness.
- Lead efforts for digital design tools, including the creation of collateral and user education to promote tool effectiveness and brand alignment.
- Drive tool adoption through strategic training programs for dealer designers and leaders, ensuring effective use and understanding across the network.
- Translate complex product offerings into intuitive design tools that improve accuracy, reduce specification errors, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with dealer designers and internal stakeholders to support tool implementation, feedback integration, and continuous improvement.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, UX Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial interior design, architecture, or UX design, with a focus on using and training others on design tools and workflows. (OR 3 years of related experience with a Master’s Degree.)
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
- Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., CET Designer, Canvas, Revit, AutoCAD).
- Experience in commercial interiors or architectural product specification.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical, user-friendly guidance.
- Proven ability to manage programs and drive adoption across diverse teams.
