Job Overview

We are currently looking for 2  Shopify/Liquid Full Stack Developer ~ Holland, MI's to join our team in Information Systems.  


As a Shopify/Liquid Full Stack Developer ~ Holland, MI, you will:

Be working with Shopify/Liquid. After this project is complete, you will be working on web applications. Provide business solutions by designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet applications. Work within established architecture and coding standards and frameworks. Recommend and utilize latest technologies, including user interface prototyping and design. 

  • Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.  

  • Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.  

  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.  

  • Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.  

  • Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.  

  • Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.  

  • Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.  

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking or Information Security.
  • 5 years demonstrated experience in an IT field utilizing related skills, including experience with existing standard languages and programs. 
  • Experience with Agile. 
  • Experience with eCommerce-related development. 
  • Experience with Shopify/Liquid, Visual Studio Experience, C#, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC Framework, Entity Framework, familiarity with Single Page Applications, REST APIs, Visual Studio Code experience. 
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time. 
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience with conceptual software development, on-line survey development, user interface design, statistics and graphics programming, and data processing. 
  • Experience with database management. 
  • Experience with Telerik UI, Kendo UI, jQuery, Bootstrap, Typescript, Angular, Webforms, Git, SOAP, Azure DevOps, OData, Microsoft SQL. 
  • Ability to be self-directed, accountable, and disciplined to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. 

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Ability to learn fast and enjoy moving between different tech stacks. 
  • Highly creative and oritinal thinker. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and debugging skills.
