Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Solution Architect (UX-UI) ~ Holland, MI to join our team in Holland MI - HQ.  


As a Solution Architect (UX-UI) ~ Holland, MI, you will:

Evaluate existing applications and evaluate their UX (user experience) effectiveness. Refine and update applications, software and other sites to create a streamlined user experience. Implement existing designs to existing software. Troubleshoot and resolve any application and user interface problems. This role will have opportunities for self-guided projects working for internal clients and helping to champion best practices for UI/UX within the organization. Types of projects may include supporting digital marketing initiatives, landing pages, e-communications, mobile applications, SAP UX, and evolving the design of our web sites internal and external. As a Solution Architect (UX-UI) you will use your skills to:

  • Create low-fidelity wireframes and quickly iterate based on evolving needs and successfully finalize into high-fidelity final production reference designs.
  • Sketch, concept creation and wire-framing, producing sitemaps and user flows.
  • Help create functional prototypes.
  • Synthesize multiple points of feedback into a thoughtful solution and response.
  • Demonstrate your knowledge and ability to execute on good user experience.
Do you have these required qualifications?
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science, computer information systems, computer systems engineering.


  • Two years formal education from technical school, college, or certification program in computer science, computer information systems, or computer systems engineering AND two years’ experience developing and maintaining software.


  • Four years’ experience leading technical projects and designing, developing, and maintaining software.
  • Eight additional years related experience, including four years continuous and current experience architecting and implementing minimum of two solutions within target solution domain.
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI practitioner
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience with Invision, Axure, or similar modern prototyping tools
  • Experience working with interactive experience creation software or iRise
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience working on B2B websites and/or sites for technology or software
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
  • Ability to analyze complex software problems and communicate solutions.
  • Proven experience understanding the connection between customer needs, technology and overall business goals.
  • Strong sense of design thinking and an eye for aesthetics
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
