Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Coordinater to join our team in Big Rapids, MI. 

 

This is an onsite role. Daily schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm with the possibility of overtime when covering special events. 

 

As a Manufacturing Coordinater, you will:

 

Coordinates plant activities, events, programs, and projects; maintains data and databases; and provides administrative support to Operations, Plant, or Manufacturing Manager. Prepares internal and external correspondence, including that of confidential and/or complex nature. Coordinates plant training opportunity programs for hourly and salaried members; maintains plant/corporate training data base; develops, maintains, and distributes various plant and departmental reports, minutes, and records; and maintains plant/corporate manuals, records, databases, and ensures proper notification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support inventory management: Assist with inventory counts, data entry, and material handling tasks.
  • Maintain warehouse organization: Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Support production operations: Provide support to production operations by delivering materials, assisting with assembly tasks, and performing basic quality checks.
  • Utilize manufacturing systems: Gain familiarity with manufacturing systems, such as inventory management software and production tracking tools.
  • Follow safety procedures: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Contribute to process improvements: Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse and production processes.
  • Support team goals: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related experience
  • Work Experience: None required

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree in business preferred.
