Job Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Inventory Analyst to join our team in Bruce, MS.

 

As a Inventory Analyst, you will:

 

Oversees plant inventory activities, including cycle counting, inventory adjustments, audits, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and related interfaces with various departments.  Leads continuous improvement projects to increase lean movement, accuracy, and warehouse organization of inventory.

 

Some of the responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to):

 

  • Performing all transactions required to initiate and close cycle counts to ensure cycle count process if complete and correct.
  • Trains, supervises, and provides daily direction to Cycle Counter(s) to validate cycle count process is performed as scheduled and according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines and standard work.
  • Researches discrepancies between physical and system count to establish root cause.  Performs inventory adjustments and root cause analysis to drive inventory accuracy, minimize future adjustments, and identify areas of opportunity and drive improvements.
  • Follows all policies, procedures, systems, and best practices regarding inventory to maintain accurate financial information.
  • Performs physical inventory as needed to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Works with corporate cycle count team and management to implement corrective action plans and/or policy changes.
  • Applies Haworth Management System (HMS) tools and methodology to identify, evaluate, and recommend business process and system improvement opportunities.
  • Continually improves expertise in process improvement techniques and teaches process improvement techniques to others to facilitate change management and negotiate solutions.
     

Do you have these required qualifications?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar. 
  • Two years experience in inventory management (i.e., cycle counts, managing inventory records), distribution, supply chain, and/or logistics.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Bruce, MS without relocation assistance. 

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

 

  • Warehouse management and set up experience. 
  • Experience in electronics, automotive, or furniture manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

 

  • Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management systems, preferably SAP.
  • Ability to understand Kan-ban control cycles and re-order points to ensure perfect execution of material point of use.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal, communication and written skills.
