Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Architectural Product Specialist to join our team in Dallas or Houston, TX. 

 

As an Architectural Product Specialist, you will:

Support the successful planning, design, and execution of Architectural Solutions projects across their full lifecycle, from bid and specification through delivery and installation. Serve as a key technical and project coordination partner, this role collaborates closely with sales, product leadership, internal project managers, and external stakeholders to translate customer requirements into accurate, high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include developing project specifications and layouts, providing product application expertise, supporting client presentations and training, and ensuring alignment with sales strategies and business objectives. The role also ensures accuracy and quality through design reviews and audits, manages project timelines and workflows, and contributes to achieving profitability targets while delivering a seamless customer experience in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Essential Functions

  • Supports project documentation by reviewing drawings, checklists, and bid materials to define scope and deliver accurate shop drawing and bid response packages.+
  • Communicate project scope, assumptions, and timelines clearly across stakeholders to enable effective task delegation and execution.
  • Partner withs solution specialists and sales teams to align solutions with sales strategy, product positioning, and business unit objectives.
  • Support sales efforts and collaboration with architects, clients, and contractors to drive specification and selection.
  • Deliver training and guidance to dealers and external partners to strengthen product positioning and ensure effective recommendation of Walls solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise in product applications, configurations, and documentation across all project phases, including presentations and support materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to review, revise, and validate specifications and drawings; conduct audits to ensure accuracy, quality, and cost control.
  • Support projects end-to-end, including layouts, meetings, order strategy, financial tracking, and lifecycle execution, ensuring alignment with schedules, profitability targets, and customer expectations.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design or equivalent .
  • Education Equivalency: 
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience. 

Work Experience:

  • 2 years of experience with architectural products, including architectural design developing layouts, and supporting projects from bid through installation.

Additionally:

  • Ability to work in Dallas or Houston, TX without relocation assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CET Canvas, AutoCAD, or Revit experience.
  • Construction industry experience.
  • Project management experience supporting interior fit-out projects.
  • Experience working with commerical clients.
