Job Overview
We are currently looking for Assemblers to join our team on 1st and the weekend shift in Holland, MI.
As an Assembler, you will:
- Assemble final product for customer shipment. Utilize various tools to complete job requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 8th grade education or higher
- The ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
- The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs
- Ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to use basic hand, air, cordless, and/or electric tools.
- Ability to utilize appropriate electronic production system and maintenance management system to complete job duties, along with the respective technology tools, e.g. personal computer (PC), tablet, keyboard, mouse, RF gun.
- Ability to read and follow basic blueprints.
- Good color perception.
- Strong manual dexterity.
Essential Functions
- Accesses electronic production systems to determine daily schedule.
- Accesses pick lists, picks all needed components. Verifies that parts received match pick tickets.
- Inspects incoming components, parts and/or previous station's assembly work, and completed product, to ensure proper fit and function of all components. Corrects or replaces unacceptable parts.
- May sub-assemble components using hand and power tools in preparation for final assembly or for customer packet/kit.
- Performs final visual and quality inspection of product/parts.
- Prepares and may package components for next manufacturing process or for shipment to customer.
- Enters order data into electronic production system, creates labels, and stages product for next operation.
- Escalates & documents production nonconformance issues.
- Rotates through department work centers based on business need.
- Works overtime as needed.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
