Job Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Associate Product Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI. 

 

As a Associate Product Specialist you will, 

 

Drive the development and execution of product line strategies for Haworth’s Worksystems portfolio. This role combines strong analytical skills with market research expertise to identify trends, assess competitive positioning, and inform product decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights that shape product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives. Ideal candidates excel at translating data into actionable recommendations and building relationships across teams to influence outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Assists with product analysis: Assists with gathering data around product performance, identifying trends, conducting competitive analyses, participating in margin/cost analyses and preparing sales forecasts.
  • Assists with product line materials: Assists with developing marketing collateral, presentations, and other materials to support product line management activities.
  • Contribute to product line management activities: Actively contribute to product line management activities by forecasting sales, participating in new product introductions, maintenance of existing products, supporting sales teams, addressing supply chain issues, and coordinating product samples and mockups.
  • Develop communication and analytical skills: Enhance communication and data analysis skills, and business acumen knowledge, to effectively present findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop presentation skills: Develop presentation skills by assisting, supporting and interacting with various personas to support product line management objectives.
  • Gain exposure to product line management: Gain exposure to the principles and practices of product line management through observation, mentorship, training, cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Support Product Line Management: Provide support to the Product Line Management function in conducting market research, compiling and analyzing data, and preparing marketing materials.

  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, or similar field of study.
  • Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
  • No professional experience required but preferred.
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year experience relating to marketing research and product analysis preferred.
  • Furniture experience
  • Previous internship experience supporting product management if no work experience.
  • Strong Microsoft excel skills
  • Experience using PowerBi
  • Experience using AI.
