Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Benefits Analyst II to join our team in Holland, MI. As a Benefits Analyst, you will: 

Administer Haworth’s health and welfare plans and programs.  Analyze various health and welfare benefits. Assist with implementing program goals and objectives.  Provide information and assistance to Haworth members regarding policies and procedures.  Assist with coordination and administration of enrollments, changes, and payment of premiums for health and welfare benefit plans provided to Haworth members in United States and Calgary/Canadian Field facilities.  Serve as resource for North American Human Resources (HR) Consultants and HR Shared Services Coordinators for benefits administration and reporting requirements.

Do you have these required qualifications?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. 
  • 5 years of United States benefits experience 
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI with relocation assistance. 
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
  • Experience administrating benefits plans for multiple states.
  • Knowledge of Canadian benefits plans.
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS).
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
  • Ability to coordinate day-to-day operations and services of and recommend and implement goals and objectives for comprehensive employee benefits administration program.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implements recommendations to support goals.
  • Must be familiar with and stay informed regarding all Haworth health and welfare pans, executive benefit plans, benefits legislation, Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and Department of Labor regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and report writing skills required.
  • Ability to work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions and high degree of member contact via telephone or in person.
  • Ability to obtain cooperation and confidence of others and understand their requirements and suggestions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
  • Ability to work independently in absence of supervision.
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required; intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
