Why this Role Matters
As a Human Resources Business Partner supporting one or more plants in our Holland campus, you will play a key role in driving HR initiatives that align with business goals and foster a culture of engagement and inclusion. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both local and regional HR projects while collaborating with the broader HRBP team and HR Centers of Excellence. This is an onsite position.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned plant(s), supporting employee relations, talent development, and compliance.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct thorough investigations into member issues, including harassment, discrimination, and performance concerns.
- Implement HR programs, such as talent acquisition, performance management, and member development.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a similar relevant field of study.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a similar relevant field of study, plus 2 years of Human Resources experience, or
- 4 years of Human Resources experience if no post-secondary education.

Experience
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
In addition:
- Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Ability to travel in-state as needed.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM Certified Professional or equivalent HR Certification.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- SAP (Success Factors) experience.
- HR experience in an hourly manufacturing environment supporting multiple locations or value streams with 100+ headcount.
