Job Overview
We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner Manager for North American Manufacturing Operations to join our team onsite in Holland, MI.
As the Human Resources Business Partner Manager for North American Manufacturing Operations, this strategic leadership role partners closely with the Director of Operations to design and implement comprehensive HR initiatives that drive operational excellence across nine manufacturing plants in North America. Leading a diverse team of HR Business Partners, the position provides mentorship and fosters professional development across all experience levels. This influential role plays a key part in workforce planning and talent development, with a strong focus on the hourly workforce to support scalable growth and build future-ready capabilities. It offers a unique opportunity to standardize HR practices across the region while shaping and executing a transformative people strategy for the operations organization.
Essential Functions
- Manage and lead a team of HR professionals, setting team goals, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring performance.
- Strategic Business Partner to Manufacturing Leadership
- Define and execute on Manufacturing People Strategies supporting to meet business objectives.
- Foster and lead a culture of inclusion and belonging, promoting member engagement, sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to align HR initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Lead and manage HR projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Analyze HR data, identify trends, and develop recommendations to improve HR processes and programs.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating organizational risk.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management, or a similar relevant field of study.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management, or similar relevant field of study plus 2 years of related experience or,
- 4 years of related experience if no post-secondary education.
- Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
Experience
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- 2 years supervisory experience.
In addition:
- Applicants must be able to work onsite in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25 percent of the time to Haworth's NA plants.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM Certified Professional.
- Professional HR Certification.
- Experience with SAP - Success Factors.
- Manufacturing, Logistics or Retail industry experience.
- Experience with over 500 employee headcount with multiple locations.
- Ability to support Spanish-speaking employees in navigating various human resources questions or concerns.
