Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Lead Program Manager to join our Sales & Design Technologies team in Holland, MI.  This position is remote-eligible. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of our Holland, MI office will be expected to work onsite.

 

As a Lead Program Manager, you will:

Provide program leadership for enterprise initiatives that advance Haworth's sales, design, and digital ecosystem. This role leads complex, cross functional programs that span multiple functions, platforms, and external partners; owns program strategy, planning, execution, communication, and financial oversight, translating technical, commercial, and design inputs into clear decisions, executive ready insights, and measurable business outcomes. Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercises independent judgment, and influences outcomes across Sales, Marketing, IT, Product, and Design.

Essential Functions

  • Lead large scale, cross functional programs from concept through delivery, with accountability for outcomes, timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps and execution plans for initiatives including Design Automation, CET/Configura enhancements, Responsive AI, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Serve as the primary integrator across Sales, Marketing, Design, IT, Spec Tools, and external partners-balancing competing priorities and advancing decisions.
  • Synthesize technical and subject matter expertise into concise, executive level recommendations, presentations, and program updates.
  • Design and execute communication and education plans tailored to multiple audiences to accelerate adoption, improve usage, and increase ROI.
  • Forecast, manage, and track program budgets; support funding strategies, scope decisions, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Oversee day to day program execution, including risk management, dependency tracking, status reviews, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
  • Support client, dealer, and internal leadership conversations with informed, professional presentations on products, platforms, design, and brand.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Operations Management, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Education Equivalency: 
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience. 

Work Experience:

  • 7 years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs from concept through delivery, with proven accountability for timelines, outcomes, risk mitigation, and executive-level stakeholder alignment with Bachelor's Degree
    • Or 5 years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs from concept through delivery, with proven accountability for timelines, outcomes, risk mitigation, and executive-level stakeholder alignment with Master's Degree.
  • Track record of effectively integrating across teams such as Sales, Marketing, Design, IT, and external partners to drive alignment and decisions.

Additionally:

  • This position is remote-eligible. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of our Holland, MI office will be expected to work onsite.

  • Strong in decision making, marketing communications, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and influence outcomes through collaboration with internal teams. 
  • Experience delivering concise, executive-ready recommendations, presentations, and program updates.
  • Experience developing and executing communication, training, and adoption plans for new tools or processes.
  • Ability to forecast, manage, and track budgets and support investment decisions.  
  • Experience managing initiatives involving enterprise platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365 CRM, CET/Configura, Design Automation, AI enabled tools).
