Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Lead Travel Coordinator to join our team in Holland, MI.

 

As a Lead Travel Coordinator, you will: 

 

Manage all aspects of Haworth’s travel program. This includes maintaining the online booking tool, coordinating group travel arrangements, ensuring adherence to company travel policies, and optimizing travel costs. The role also involves providing exceptional support to Haworth members, managing vendor relationships, and the corporate jet program.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and maintain the online booking system to align with company travel policies, provide user support and training, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Finance to optimize long-term travel strategies.
  • Coordinate group travel logistics including room block bookings and carpooling for events, manage travel-related rewards programs, and support vendor relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective travel solutions.
  • Advise members on travel arrangements in compliance with policy, communicate updates through internal platforms, and recommend industry trends to enhance the overall travel program experience.
  • Manage domestic and international flight schedules for customer visits and internal travel, ensuring alignment with crew availability, FAA regulations, and company policies to optimize aircraft and crew utilization.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, overseeing all aspects of jet travel including passenger manifests, ground transportation, catering, FBO coordination, and customer communications to ensure seamless trip execution.
  • Complete all required flight paperwork and calculate trip costs, preparing internal and external cost breakdowns, securing necessary approvals, and ensuring compliance with corporate budgeting and policy standards.
  • Keep the jet calendar updated and accessible via the company intranet, proactively communicating travel opportunities to maximize jet usage as a strategic sales tool.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in event planning and or corporate travel.
  • Willingness to support after‑hours work on occasion when travel schedules shift unexpectedly.
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate travel,
  • Exposure to event coordination,
  • Strong organization & project management skills.
