We are currently looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Holland, MI.
Job Overview
Provide support to the manufacturing process, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with process improvements. Utilize your technical knowledge and problem solving skills to ensure smooth and efficient production. This is a 2nd shift position with the expectation of working from 2:00pm-10:30pm EST and overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling preventive maintenance, dispatching work orders, and tracking equipment repairs.
- Administer maintenance management systems, such as entering work orders, tracking labor and parts costs, and generating reports.
- Assist with developing and delivering training programs for maintenance personnel on maintenance procedures and systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment records, including maintenance history, spare parts inventory, and warranty information.
- Coordinate vendor services for equipment repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with contracts and agreements.
- Assist with processing payroll for maintenance personnel, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School or equivalent
- Work Experience: Work assignment dispatching experience
- Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within Haworth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly across teams
- Proficient in two‑way radio communication for coordinating maintenance activities in real time
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize service calls, ensuring timely response and resolution
- Experience communicating with shift leads and supervisors regarding equipment breakdowns and repair status
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and other standard office software
- Working knowledge of SAP, Empac, and purchasing software systems used for maintenance planning and parts procurement
