Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer III to join our team in Holland, MI. 


As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer III, you will:

Drive strategic and tactical execution of all aspects and phases of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM), manufacturing plans, training, documentation, tooling, capacity, test equipment, training/mentoring, and compliance issues.  Support transition of new launch products to production.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor of Science degree or 1 year of Engineering experience for each year of school uncompleted. 
  • 10 additional years engineering experience.


  • Master of Science degree or 1 year of Engineering experience for each year of school uncompleted. 
  • 8 additional years engineering experience. 
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship. 
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. 


Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Previous AME or other new product launch experience
  • Experience in manufacturing processes such as fabric cutting and sewing, upholstery, sheet steel fabrication, aluminum fabrication, or wood processing
  • Project management experience
  • MS Office skills, in particular Excel, Word, & Project. Experience with ProE, AutoCAD, SolidWorks. or SAP.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Ability to problem solve and experiment utilizing a diverse and broad background of knowledge.
  • Ability to take risks while employing a “fail fast” methodology.
  • Ability to collaborate with patent attorneys on process and part development.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, trip reports, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.
  • Ability to work within mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required, including working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Must be able to work in development-oriented team environment.
  • Ability climb/bend/balance in manufacturing environment and lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, for extended periods of time.
