Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our legal team in Holland, MI. 

As a Paralegal, you will:

Provide research for legal issues of company and administrative support for vice president.  May prepare, revise, and negotiate (within scope of authority) agreements. Prepare instruments, documents, and pleadings relating to litigation and non-litigation matters in support of activities of external corporate counsel and all internal departments.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Associates degree in Paralegal or Legal Assistant OR a Paralegal Certificate.
  • 4 years of paralegal experience focusing in commerical/corporate law, within an in-house legal team or within a public law firm.
  • Valid State of Michigan driver’s license or the ability to obtain a valid State of Michigan driver's license. 
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience working with Intellectual Property
  • Experience working with Legal Operations

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Excellent language, grammar, and writing skills; good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate responsible judgment.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
  • Ability to lift/move material weighing up to 50 pounds; exposure to outdoor elements possible while delivering legal documents.
