Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Product Manager - Casegoods to join our team in Holland, MI. 

 

As a Product Manager for Casegoods you will:

 

Be responsible for the strategic management and growth of the Veneer Casegoods product portfolio. You will collaborate across Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to develop and execute product line strategies that meet customer needs and business objectives. Through market insights, customer engagement, and strong cross-functional leadership, you will influence key decisions, drive portfolio performance, support new product introductions, and help achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, supply chain, operations, finance, business resource center and marketing communications, to drive product success.
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities, informing product positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Lead the development of product plans for specific product lines, defining product roadmaps, launch timelines, and marketing strategies.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned product lines including product budgets, forecasts, profitability, for new and existing products or product lines, to optimize product and financial performance.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform product strategy and support decision-making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product lines, presenting product information and providing guidance and support, to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Line Management, Product Management, Category Management, Design, Engineering, or a related business function. (3 years of related experience with a Master's degree.)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, build strong partnerships, and drive business outcomes through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct product line management experience with P&L ownership.
  • Experience managing physical product portfolios within furniture, cabinetry, architectural products, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with casegoods, wood products, veneers, laminates, finishes, or similar material-based product categories.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated success using data to drive product strategy, pricing, and portfolio decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and technologies that enhance productivity and decision-making.
