Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Product Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI. 

As a Product Specialist you will:

Contribute to the development and implementation of product line management strategies for Haworth products, working within established brand guidelines. Assist in conducting market analysis, developing product line plans, and tracking key performance indicators to support product growth.

Essential Functions

• Analyze Product Performance: Analyze product performance and conduct market research to gather insights into customer needs, industry trends, competitive activity, and overall business performance. Evaluate sales data, market share, operational metrics, reporting dashboards, and other key indicators to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Support Pricing Strategies: Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
• Manage Business Data and Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytical tools that support product line decision-making. Monitor key business metrics and provide insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational objectives.
• Own Product Data and Change Management Processes: Support and maintain product information, documentation, and change management processes to ensure accurate and timely implementation of product updates across business systems and stakeholder groups.
• Lead Product Line Activities: Lead product line management activities with appropriate oversight, including sales forecasting, new product introductions, competitive and margin analysis, sales support, supply chain issue resolution, business process management, product data integrity, and guidance for less experienced team members.
• Manage Product Lifecycles: Assist with managing product lifecycles, including product enhancements, pricing adjustments, and product phase-out strategies.
• Participate in Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineering, sales, supply chain, operations, and marketing communications teams by providing product expertise to support business and product objectives.
• Present Product Information: Support product line management objectives by presenting product information, insights, and recommendations to sales teams, dealers, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead or support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional efforts that enhance product line performance, operational effectiveness, and business results.
• Develop Product Line Materials: Support the development and implementation of presentations, marketing collateral, and other materials that promote and support new and existing products and product lines.
• Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
• Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
• Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, supply chain, or similar.
• 2 years experience in product line management and/or supporting a product line.
• Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
• Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI, Business Objects, or similar reporting tools.
• Knowledge of product data management, data governance, and data accuracy best practices.
• Experience supporting product line management or product lifecycle activities.
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage detailed data with a high degree of accuracy.
