Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our team in wood plant on the weekend (Friday-Sunday) shift in the Holland, MI (One Haworth Center) facility.
Schedule
- 6:00am-6:30pm, Friday-Sunday. No mandatory OT!
As a Production Control Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate efforts among supervisors, planners, engineers, shifts, departments, and plants to support manufacturing execution. Responsible for communicating manufacturing execution to the broader organization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work comfortably when exposed to noise, dust, fumes, dirt, solvent, glue, grease, oil, paint, heat, and/or vibrations
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed - Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance

Essential Functions
- Coordinate manufacturing planning activities, ensuring alignment with production schedules, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Identify material shortages, expediting orders, and adjusting production schedules.
- System and documentation support through identifying potential issues with the Bill of Material (BOM's) usage quantities and characteristics and escalating through standardized channels. Document production-related transactions to maintain a clear and accurate record.
- Identify and suggest improvements to manufacturing, planning processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve manufacturing and planning objectives.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines in the workplace.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel
- Industry experience in manufacturing, preferably in office furniture or automotive sectors
- Relevant certifications or licensures (e.g., Powered Industrial Truck (PIT))
