We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineering Technician to join our team in Holland, MI.

Job Summary

This Quality Tech will be our Early Product Containment (EPC) Coordinator responsible for managing quality assurance processes for newly developed products, ensuring customers receive high-quality output from the start. This role oversees EPC activities on the Holland campus, including coordinating with operations, inspecting product, analyzing data, and driving short term improvements. It offers opportunities to enhance EPC management through the development of best practices and process improvements. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements inspection plans, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications.
  • Conducts complex inspections using advanced metrology equipment and techniques, interpreting results and making recommendations.
  • Leads root cause analysis investigations for significant quality issues, utilizing problemsolving methodologies and statistical tools.
  • Develops and delivers training programs on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving tools.
  • Works independently on a variety of assignments, seeking guidance on complex or unusual issues.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and makes recommendations to enhance product quality.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Work Experience: 1 year of experience with inspection of product in an operational environment 
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with coordinating operational planning
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and data driven approach
  • Demonstrated critical thinking; ability to assess and adapt based on feedback
  • Experience using Microsoft-based tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Proven ability to develop and improve processes and procedures
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong initiative
  • Experience working with or at Haworth
