Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Recruiter to join our team onsite in Holland, MI.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives on variety, movement, and meaningful connection. As a flex Recruiter, you will own full‑cycle recruiting across both hourly and salaried roles, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver strong hiring outcomes through market insight, consultative partnership, and compliant recruiting practices. Supporting roles that span the entire business, operating on a U.S. scale, you will build expertise while continuously expanding your skills across recruiting processes, tools, and diverse client groups. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexing from customer group to customer group, embraces change, and finds energy in shifting priorities and new challenges. You will have the opportunity to work cross‑functionally with a wide range of teams, build new relationships every day, and make a visible impact across the organization. As a key ambassador for Haworth, you’ll also represent the company both internally and externally, engaging with the community and helping shape an authentic and compelling employer brand.
Essential Functions
- Manage full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, delivering a positive and effective experience for candidates and hiring leaders while meeting business needs.
- Serve as a developing subject‑matter resource in assigned recruiting areas, with growing capability to support additional functions, roles, and client groups as needed.
- Partner with hiring leaders to identify talent needs, recommend posting titles, sourcing strategies, and competitive positioning, and maintain consistently positive hiring leader feedback.
- Conduct market and competitor research, including identification of key local employers and talent trends, and share insights related to pay, talent availability, and competitive practices with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners.
- Leverage recruiting systems and tools (e.g., SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter) to build talent pipelines, create and maintain talent pools, interpret recruiting data, and inform sourcing and hiring decisions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, Haworth policies, and recruiting standard work; accurately complete recruiting audits and support or coach others on compliance and audit processes as appropriate.
- Support recruiting operations, projects, and continuous improvement efforts, including participating in pilots, identifying process improvement opportunities, and contributing to documentation, job aids, and standard work.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with candidates, hiring leaders, and HR partners; navigate routine recruiting challenges independently, make recommendations for improvement, and escalate complex issues with guidance as needed.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sales, Business or equivalent in relevant field of study.
- Education Equivalency (if no completed Bachelor's degree):
- Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience in full cycle recruitment for both hourly and salary positions.
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience in full cycle recruitment for both hourly and salary positions.
- Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in full cycle recruitment for both hourly and salary positions.
Additionally:
- Ability to work in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.
- Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time during working and after hours, as needed.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual - Spanish/English.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Completed Bachelor's degree.
- SHRM certification.
- Experienceworking with Success Factors - SAP.
- Technical recruiting experience (examples: Engineering, IT roles, etc.).
