Job Overview

As a Senior Employee Data Analyst, you will blend deep operational HR expertise with advanced technical and analytical capabilities to drive business improvement through data-driven insights. The position independently performs complex analyses, builds statistical models, and delivers compelling visualizations to inform strategic decisions. Acting as a key liaison across corporate functions, it ensures data integrity, confidentiality, and consistency while guiding colleagues on best practices. With a focus on optimizing employee data management through automation and system enhancements, the role partners closely with HRIS, IT, and internal or external contacts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-focused, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

This is an onsite position working at Haworth Global Corporate Headquarters in Holland, MI. 

Essential Functions

  • Creates and implements data management guidelines and processes to assure accurate and effective employee data and analytics.
  • Develops and implements business process and workflows in SAP Successfactors to effectively manage employee data adds, changes, updates, etc.
  • Performs complex analyses, builds statistical models, and delivers compelling visualizations of employee data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to drive business processes and efficiencies.
  • Demonstrates initiative and autonomy while actively contributing to a collaborative team culture where feedback is openly exchanged and valued.
  • Provides training and guidance to system users on processes, data extraction, and data management.
  • Performs regular data audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Creates and manages documentation and communication strategies for employee data initiatives.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive testing strategies to confirm configuration of employee data.
  • Utilizes a high level of discretion and confidentiality, to serve as the subject matter expert for HR data, ensuring proper governance and security protocols are followed to protect sensitive employee information. 
  • Develops and uses a thorough understanding of Haworth’s HRIS system (SAP Success Factors) to manage employee data and implement processes to optimize functionality.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Human Resources, Data Analytics or equivalent area of study. 
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree in Statistics, Business, Human Resources, Data Analytics or equivalent area of study, plus 2 years of Human Resources experience, or
    • 4 years of Human Resources experience if no post-secondary education.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in employee data analytics and reporting with a Bachelor's degree or,
  • 3 years of experience in employee data analytics and reporting with a Master's degree. 
  • Proven experience designing and implementing efficient workflows in SAP SuccessFactors. 
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and data management standards. 

 

In addition:

  • Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.  
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Background in HR data analytics and reporting.
  • Experience working with Collibra and Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Experience working in large corporate environments, ideally with an employee headcount of 2,500 or more.
