Job Overview

As a Senior Employee Data Analyst, you will combine advanced analytical skills with deep expertise in data visualization to deliver insights that drive meaningful business improvement. This role independently conducts complex analyses, develops statistical models, and creates compelling visualizations that support strategic decision-making. Serving as a key partner across corporate functions, you will uphold data integrity, confidentiality, and consistency while sharing best practices with colleagues and business leaders. With a strong emphasis on optimizing Power Bl, you will ensure data is clearly presented and effectively leveraged to inform business decisions. Collaboration with HRIS, IT, and both internal and external stakeholders is essential. This role will also be expected to cross train with our payroll department for back up as needed – no payroll experience is needed. The ideal candidate is highly detailed, possesses extensive Power Bl knowledge, and excels at presenting insights to diverse audiences within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


This is an onsite position working at Haworth Global Corporate Headquarters in Holland, MI. 

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, Business or equivalent area of study. 
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree IT, HR, Business or equivalent area of study, plus 2 years of employee data analytics and visualization experience, or
    • 4 years of employee data analytics and visualization experience if no post-secondary education.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in employee data analytics and visualization with a Bachelor's degree or,
  • 3 years of experience in employee data analytics and visualization with a Master's degree. 
  • Proven experience designing visualization within Power BI.
  • Proven ability and experience to deliver clear, engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Proven understanding and experience of data management standards. 

 

In addition:

  • Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.  
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Success Factors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software.
  • Experience working with Collibra and Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Experience working in large corporate environments, ideally with an employee headcount of 2,500 or more.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and uses a thorough understanding of SAP SuccessFactors to manage employee data and optimize data management processes for accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience, while maintaining compliant employee records.
  • Performs routine data audits, complex analyses and statistical modeling to ensure data integrity, accuracy, compliance and to identify trends and risks.
  • Creates and manages documentation and communication strategies for employee data initiatives; collects and manages core HR data (employee, position, job, etc.).
  • Builds compelling visualizations in presentations and dashboards, standard and custom employee data reports, training, and provides guidance to system users on processes, data extraction, and data management.
  • Generates and implements comprehensive testing strategies to confirm configuration of employee data; establishes standards for employee‑related metrics and reporting consistency.
  • Utilizes a high level of discretion and confidentiality to serve as the subject matter expert for HR data, providing employee‑related insights to support data‑driven business decisions, while ensuring proper data governance and security protocols are followed across Haworth entities.
  • Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to drive business processes, efficiencies, and data‑informed outcomes.
  • Will be cross trained with our payroll department for back up as needed. (No Payroll experience needed)
  • Demonstrates initiative and autonomy while actively contributing to a collaborative team culture where feedback is openly exchanged and valued.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in the Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
