Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Technician - LPP (2nd shift) to join our team onsite in Holland, MI. The position will work Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:30PM. Overtime is available and required as needed and would extend the day by 2 hours or Saturdays. This position is based in LPP (Wood Plant).
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Education Equivalency:
- Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
- Relevant certification or vocational training may be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years working experience with the following:
- G-code and CNC machine programming (not operating) and,
- Maintenance Technician with computer programming.
In addition:
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with 3Tec, Cut Rite, AutoNEST or CIM-TECH software.
- Associate’s degree in Mathematics or Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM focused degree.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement machining processes for new and existing products, including process flow analysis, tooling selection, and labor standard development.
- Conduct process qualifications, experiments, and data analysis to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and process specifications.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize advanced metrology equipment and inspection techniques to ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
