Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (Corporate FP&A) to join our team in Holland, MI.  This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule, which allows for work from home 1 day a week.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:
Join a dynamic team responsible for gathering and analyzing global financial data across multiple sectors to produce executive-level reports and insights that support strategic decision-making. This role leads financial planning, reporting, accounting, and business analysis to ensure alignment with company objectives. The position offers frequent interaction with Haworth executives and supports acquisitions and high-priority business initiatives. All reporting and analysis must comply with accounting standards and company policies, providing accurate and actionable financial information. 

Essential Functions

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the finance/accounting function, leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging accounting and finance trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Mentor, train and provide guidance to Finance members on processes, standard of work and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders within the Finance department and throughout the organization to identify needs and manage a project to address those needs to completion.
  • Participate in the development and execution of company financial initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders in the organization. Conduct complex financial analysis, develop financial models, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study.
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study plus 2 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles, or
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
       

Experience: 

  • 5 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles with a Bachelor's degree or,
  • 3 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles with a Master's degree. 
  • Equivalent Military experience.
     

Additionally:

  • Ability to work in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP BPC.
  • Experience working in a global manufacturing organization.
