We are currently looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our corporate team in Holland. 

 

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner you will,

 

Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders to drive the alignment of HR solutions with business strategies. Contribute to the design and implementation of key HR programs, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of HR principles and best practices to solve complex problems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR Initiatives: Lead and manage HR initiatives, such as talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Provide Strategic HR Guidance: Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop and Implement HR Policies: Alongside other HRBPs and HR leaders, develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Manage Member Relations: Manage complex member relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Conduct HR Audits: Conduct HR audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Analyze HR Metrics: Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned functional department(s), supporting employee relations, talent development, and compliance.
  • Conduct Member Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into member issues including harassment, discrimination, and performance concerns. Review investigation results and follow company policies and procedures to take appropriate action.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with direct experience in HR business partnership supporting senior leadership. (3 years with Masters Degree)
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. 
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI, PHR, SPHR, or CPHR.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Planner.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
