Job Overview
As an SAP HANA Modeler on our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming strategic data into high performance semantic models and data services that enable accurate, timely business decisions. Job Responsibilities

Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights

Design and develop data models using SAP XSC and SAP XSA ensuring optimal performance, scalability and integration.

Perform data analysis, identify trends and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Ensure data integrity, quality and security throughout the data modeling and replication processes.

Stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP HANA, SAP SLT and data modeling techniques.

Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish

Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models

Configure and implement SAP SLT for data replication from source systems to SAP HANA, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

Work closely with SAP SLT administrators to monitor data replication processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Analyze current ETL process, define and design new systems
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other similar relevant field of study
- Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
- Work Experience: 5 years experience with data modeling for OLTP. OLAP, Star schema, or Snowflake with Bachelor’s Degree OR 3 years experience with data modeling for OLTP. OLAP, Star schema, or Snowflake with Master’s Degree
- Applicants must be able to work fully onsite in Holland, MI; this position does not offer remote or hybrid work and does not include relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with database management
- Experience with integration tools such as Azure and other data platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of existing development standards, platforms, databases and languages such as:
- SAP HANA Studio, SAP XSC/XSA, SAP SLT, SAP Data Services, SAP Business Objects Data Services, SSIS, Power BI
- Ability to learn fast and enjoys hopping between various tech stacks.
- Highly creative; original thinker.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business friendly language.
- Ability to understand the needs and priorities of different departments, ensuring that reporting aligns with business goals.
- A proactive approach to managing changes in project scopes or business requirements, comfortable with ambiguity and quick to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Naturally curious and willing to learn and experiment.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Self-directed, accountable, and disciplined to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
