Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Sourcing Process Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Senior Sourcing Process Specialist you will:
Lead end-to-end procurement transformation by driving process optimization, system enablement, and operational efficiency across purchasing. Aligns procurement activities with broader supply chain and business objectives through standardization, automation, and data-driven continuous improvement. Leverages digital platforms such as SAP, Ariba, and the Power Platform to streamline workflows, strengthen data governance, and implement scalable, repeatable global processes.
Essential Functions
- Utilize Haworth systems to analyze supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, initiate corrective actions, and track performance.
- Engage suppliers in new product development processes, involve them in cost reduction initiatives, and actively participate in or lead continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement strategies to reduce procurement costs, track purchases, and maintain a current database of vendor information.
- Implement strategies to grow relationships with suppliers, support product plans for growth, and develop procurement strategies for assigned commodities.
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives across sourcing and procurement and partner with the Purchasing team to identify, evaluate, and advance digital procurement tools and AI-enabled workflow solutions.
- Improve supplier collaboration through digital platforms and enable automation of sourcing events, pricing updates, and contract workflows.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, project management, process improvement, or related business functions. (3 years related experience with Master’s Degree)
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
- Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, data modeling, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex costing and business requirements into scalable process and system solutions.
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, Power Automate, or similar business systems.
- Ability to manage projects, drive milestones, and follow stage-gate processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CPSM, CSCP, or similar credentials are a plus.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset, including interest in AI and automation.
