The first would be an Inquiry Role which is a high volume, fast-paced customer service role with direct interactions with Haworth’s dealers. This department receives 140+ new requests from dealers per day. This role would be to determine if something can be done, the cost, boundary conditions and working with the test lab. CAD Skills may be required. It requires a higher level of engineering to make deviations to a standard project. The intern works in teams of 4-5 people for each specific project. Turnaround is expected the next business day. There is opportunity for the intern to go out and interact with the supplier to determine if the project is feasible. The second Possibility is a Design Role in engineering the design of the project that the dealer has requested, utilizing CAD Skills and working with Bills of material.
