Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Global Accounts Executive ~ Los Angeles, CA to join our team in Holland MI - HQ.  

 

As a Global Accounts Executive ~ Los Angeles, CA, you will:

Establish Haworth as trusted advisor with client entities at multi-geographic/multi-sector facility locations to develop long-lasting relationships with executives and key influential decision makers. Develops expands, and deepens sales generating activities within assigned global accounts and targets new business accounts to achieve maximum account penetration at all locations and achieve financial sales targets.  Serve as central point person for all activities involving assigned key and enterprise accounts to coordinate local resources and support to meet client requirements. 

Do you have these required qualifications?
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, interior design, marketing or communications and 8 years contract/capital goods selling experience in generating and closing new business, solutions selling, and account management with quota retirement responsibilities.
  • If no degree; 16 years contract/capital goods selling experience in generating and closing new business, solutions selling, and account management with quota retirement responsibilities.
  • Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities. 
  • Daily travel away from “home” offices up to 70 percent of time in assigned market with occasional overnight travel, depending on assigned territory; may have occasional international travel, depending on assignment and/or training needs.  
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland MI - HQ without relocation assistance. 
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
  • Sales experience in the contract furniture industry.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
  • Proficiency in developing account strategies, creating customer relationships, and accelerating engagements to close large enterprise contract agreements.
  • Advanced selling skills, e.g., prospect qualification; lead generation; new business development; account penetration; strategic, conceptual, issues-based, and consultative selling; negotiation; and contracts (closing).
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
