Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Ludington, MI on 3rd shift.  

 

Schedule is from 7:30pm-4:00am. OT is from 7:30pm-6:00am.

 

As a Machine Operator, you will:

  • Operate assigned production machinery in accordance with company standards to complete customer orders.

Required Qualifications

  • 8th grade education or higher
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification
  • The ability to work in Ludington, MI without relocation assistance
  • The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs with assistance
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior machine operator experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Computer experience, including keyboard/mouse skills
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as gauges and tape measures

Major Responsibilities

  • Accesses electronic production schedule
  • Verifies parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging.
  • Verifies proper machine set up according to instructions.
  • Operates machine
  • Makes minor machine adjustments.
  • Escalates & documents production nonconformance issues.
  • May use manual material handling equipment or be required to operate a powered industrial truck and/or overhead lift system.
