We are currently looking for a Plant Coordinator to join our team in Big Rapids, MI. 

Job Overview

Provides administrative and operational support to manufacturing operations by coordinating routine production support activities, maintaining records and documentation, monitoring data accuracy, and assisting with production scheduling and inventory activities. Works within established procedures and practices to support efficient plant operations while collaborating with production team members and other functional partners.

Essential Functions

  • Support daily manufacturing operations by completing administrative tasks related to production and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain training records and support scheduling of required plant training.
  • Help maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operating procedures.
  • Generate routine reports and communicate information to support manufacturing decision-making.
  • Work with production, quality, materials, maintenance, and other support functions to address routine operational needs.
  • Escalate issues that fall outside established procedures to appropriate leadership.
  • Contribute to process improvements: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related experience
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business
  • Experience using Office 365 tools
  • Continous improvement
  • Flexibility supporting 3rd and 2nd shift
