Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Territory Sales Manager to join our team in St. Louis, MO. 
 

As a Senior Territory Sales Manager, you will be:

Responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share by identifying, developing, and securing business from existing, target, and new opportunities. Create and executes sophisticated business strategies that foster profitable, long-term client relationships and ensure a robust sales pipeline. Achieve quota objectives and a balanced product mix. Serve as a mentor and strategic advisor, providing expert guidance to dealer customers to elevate sales effectiveness and capability.

Essential Functions

  • Develop & drive a comprehensive growth strategy & share-of-wallet expansion plan for accounts & opportunities to consistently meet revenue & product-mix objectives. Adapt strategies using competitive intelligence and socioeconomic factors.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with clients and influencers to build trust and unlock new business. Lead negotiations and manage complex projects to secure profitable, long-term agreements for Haworth and its dealer network.  
  • Actively network with business leaders & key influencers to uncover high-value business opportunities.
  • Drive market share & revenue growth via dealer partnerships & co-created strategies; presents new business opportunities with actionable plans & collaborates on sales initiatives; develops tailored dealer salesperson strategies to maximize wallet share & long-term value.
  • Strengthen Haworth-dealer partnerships by aligning strategies with their KPIs & boost joint profitability with compelling campaigns, education, and incentives. Leverages internal platforms to share best practices, product updates, and initiatives, empowering dealers to increase revenue with Haworth solutions.  
  • Support market-based locations of global accounts to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Effectively manages business plans, updating strategies, sales activities, development, and results for all accounts, and new business.
  • Travel up to 80% in territory to meet clients, influencers, dealers, and attend meetings.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Education Equivalency: 
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
    • High school diploma plus 4 years related experience. 

Work Experience:

  • 5 years experience in consultative business-to-business, solution-based sales role with demonstrated track of generating revenue and meeting sales targets

Additionally:

  • Ability to work in St. Louis, MO without relocation assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience preferred.
  • Experience in real estate, project management or architecture & design.
