Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst II (FP&A) to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule which allows for work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
As a Financial Analyst II, you will:
Develop, implement and maintain the financial plans and policies of the organization. Establishes fiscal controls, prepares financial reports, maintains relations with investment and banking communities, advises management of financial affairs and assists in long-range planning. This role works with both Finance and other functional groups to assist with financial planning (budgeting, forecasting) and reporting, particularly SG&A.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study plus 2 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles or,
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
Experience:
- 5 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles with a Bachelor's degree or,
- 3 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles with a Master's degree.
- Equivalent Military experience.
Additionally:
- Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting functional areas/business partners.
- Experience developing financial planning and reporting.
- Reviewing financial statements.
- Strong working knowledge with Excel.
Essential Functions
- Serve as a partner to a functional business unit on planning, financial analysis, spend and trend analysis.
- Financial Planning and Reporting: Lead and coordinate the development of annual corporate financial plans and budgets to meet corporate objectives.
- Lead Special Projects: Lead and manage special projects related to accounting and finance, such as system implementations or process improvements.
- Mentor Finance Members: Mentor and train Finance members on processes and standard of work.

- Provide Complex Financial Analysis: Conduct complex financial analysis, develop financial models, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Support Strategic Financial Initiatives: At the direction of department Leadership, conduct work and activities that support established Strategic Financial Initiatives.
