Job Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Content Strategy Manager to join our team in Holland, MI.

 

As a Content Strategy Manager you will:

 

Develop and implement content strategies and plans that align with our brand vision and business objectives. Collaborate with diverse teams, including marketing, research, sales, PLM, and international marketing, to create and distribute compelling, engaging content across multiple channels. Continuously review and analyze content to ensure it meets market needs and aligns with the Haworth brand. Lead project teams and mentor team members.

 

Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 

 

  • Develops and manages project plans. Creates outline and content sources for key knowledge topics. Coordinates use of external and internal resources across marketing team’s projects to contribute to overall strategic direction for brand and marketing projects. Leads and serves as team member of cross-functional project, and/or digital teams.
  • Coordinates information dissemination to field sales members, dealers, clients, and customers. Investigates methods to coordinate and minimize cycle time and costs of same; coordinates flexible staff, vendor, and consultant arrangements. Supports presentations to various management groups to advance recommendations or communicate program status.
  • Participates in, initiates, and leads process improvement mapping, solutions, strategy, and implementation to support manager in developing strategies for content of communication, and marketing plans and tools.
  • Leads and mentors members to maintain consistency among marketing plans. Works with other members to maintain consistency of Haworth brand within corporate programs.
  • Tracks elements of multiple strategic content plans and initiates action to keep plans current, record changes in timelines and/or purpose, keep audiences updated, and keep projects on track.
  • Forecasts budgets; tracks and maintains same for plans and projects. Participates in annual planning for department to keep budgets on track and assist with decisions on changing needs and scope.
  • Leads client visits with knowledgeable and effective presentations on areas of expertise to inform and educate individuals on Haworth products, message, and brand.

Do you have these required qualifications?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Seven years in communications projects, marketing projects, or project management, including industry and/or specialty skills experience.
  • Two years of leadership experience.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

 

  • Furniture Industry Experience.
  • Writing or Editorial Background.
  • Experience in knowledge content marketing/management.
  • Experience approaching complex problems/content and synthesis.
