Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Dealer Development Manager to join our sales team. This position will cover our West Sales Region as well as have North America Dealer responsibilities.
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement strategies and actions to improve the dealer capabilities and performance driving dealer business growth and expansion as a key strategy with a thorough understanding of dealer's business model, key financial indicators, and market dynamics. Includes analyzing dealer operations, identifying areas in need of improvement, making recommendations, and coordinating the implementation of solutions. Monitor sales and financial performance of dealers, and make recommendations for improvement. Lead Dealer Business Consultant team on initiatives for developing strong channel partner performance. As a strategic business consultant, provide support to dealer partners in assigned region on various issues related to performance, alignment, and capabilities.
Do you have these required qualifications?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Twelve years' related industry experience in sales management, dealer development, or dealer operations, including three years of supervisory experience
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting information systems and management consulting to interpret dealer financial statements
- Ability to live and work in the Western United States without relocation assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Expertise with channel/distribution business operations and processes (financial, marketing, sales) and best practices.
- Strong problem solving and discernment skills for various decisions such as addressing highly complex customer issues. Excellent analytical skills.
- Proven business consulting experience to deliver appropriate solutions.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to negotiate through complex process to reach profitable business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact at all levels of an organization, demonstrated by the ability to resolve conflicts, develop appropriate solutions to problems, and develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with dealer customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment, including remote communication tools such as Bluescape and Teams.
- Ability to travel minimum of 50% of time, including overnight. May have limited occasional international travel.
