Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Paint Line Operator/Loader to join our team in Ludington on 1st shift. Schedule is from 5:30am-2:00pm. OT is from 5:30am-4:00pm.

 

As a Paint Line Operator/Loader, you will:

  • Load/unload product per production specifications, and packs per packaging standards, ensuring daily production requirements and quality standards are met. Verifies part identification, color, and quantities for correct ticket transactions to assembly work centers.

Required Qualifications

  • 8th grade education or equivalent.
  • 1 years manufacturing experience required
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck certification
  • Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of environmental impact (temperature, humidity) on the painting process and the ability to make changes based on environmental changes.
  • Previous paint line experience

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Must be able to work at fast-moving work schedule with minimum supervision and in team environment.
  • Must be able to read and use precision measuring instruments, including calibrated meters and gloss gauges.
