Job Overview

Haworth is currently looking for Seasonal Manufacturing Members to join our manufacturing team in Holland, MI. 

 

This opportunity is primarily to provide coverage during the summer months as well as during holidays for our full time manufacturing members.  Start and end dates can be flexible and shift availability may vary.

 

As a Seasonal Manufacturing Member you may:

 

  • Assemble products, install hardware, and/or compile parts kits. Utilize various tools to complete job requirements.
  • Hang or remove parts from a paint line.
  • Provide material handling support to manufacturing workstations utilizing powered industrial trucks (hilo or forklift). 
  • Assist with facility maintenance duties.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 18 years old or older
  • 8th grade education or higher

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Has a family member currently working at Haworth
  • High school or GED
  • Attending college in the coming fall
  • Some manufacturing experience

Ideally, you have the ability to learn some of the following skills with training:

  • Ability to use basic hand, air, cordless, and/or electric tools.
  • Ability to utilize appropriate electronic production system and maintenance management system to complete job duties, along with the respective technology tools, e.g. personal computer (PC), tablet, keyboard, mouse, RF gun.
  • Ability to or ability to learn to read and follow basic blueprints.
  • Good color perception.
  • Strong manual dexterity.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck certification (hilo or forklift).
