Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Global Relationship Manager to join our team in Seattle.

 

As a Senior Global Relationship Manager, you will:

Actively pursues, develops, and secures business relationships with large, global competitively held target accounts in assigned regional territory to increase market share. Supports expansion of global account customers by engaging in high-level business discussions with key client decision makers to establish trusted-advisor relationship for converting clients to Haworth solutions. Meets and exceeds all required business goals and objectives.  

Essential Functions

  • Creates and executes business plan for developing new business for specific assigned new business targets, aligning with Haworth’s strategy, to meet/exceed revenue, profit, and market share growth targets. 
  • Conducts regional market exploration to identify and pursue new strategic revenue opportunities with competitively held global clients. Collaborates with local sales team and dealers on account planning. 
  • Effectively uses Haworth selling tools and strategy planning, including researching workplace trends and competitive analysis, to cultivate new relationships through direct high-level business discussions with key decision-makers for improving their business performance with Haworth interior solutions. 
  • Develops and establishes relationships with key market influencers, including real estate, A+D professionals and senior executive-level clients to identify early opportunities and increase Haworth exposure. Establishes trusted-advisor relationships with decision makers to accurately diagnose their business problems/challenges regarding their workspace culture; problem-solves to deliver world-class solutions.
  • Structures and negotiates agreements with prospective clients for long-term relationships.
  • Effectively manages client relationships to positive result, maintaining competitive advantage. Anticipates issues and works with internal and external resources for maximum client coverage and success. Communicates information to clients, local sales team and dealer partners to maintain positive relationships and meet project goals.
  • Once established, supports smooth transition of new business accounts to appropriate Global Accounts Executive for continued relationship management. 
  • Develops strategic plans and forecasts to build robust pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue goals.
  • Effectively manages business plan utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology and produces accurate dashboard and forecasting reports.  Manages all activities and expense budget to company requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent. 
  • 8 years successful contract or capital goods selling experience generating and closing new large and complex business, solutions selling, and account management, with quota retirement responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated track record of success delivering sales of complex services and solutions in competitive environment.
  • Successful track record of acquiring new accounts and exceeding sales goals including quota attainment. 
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time in assigned territory, including overnight travel as needed.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Office furniture experience.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Strong sales planning skills, e.g., research and strategic analysis, problem solving, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and listening skills to influence target audience.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, meeting facilitation and presentation skills – including virtual situations.
  • Must demonstrate high level of integrity and business ethics to be successful at Haworth. 
  • High personal accountability for achieving high performance with desire and ability to continuously learn and achieve results. 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and quickly shift priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

Haworth offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, sales incentive bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions. We also offer a range of benefits and programs to meet our member needs, based on eligibility. These benefits include comprehensive health care coverage, a retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, and much more. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process. This role offers a salary range of 112k to 190k, depending on candidate experience, education, and skill set.
